Scheduled posts and drafts

Open the post from Posts or Calendar and choose Edit. You can change the text, media, accounts and time. To stop a scheduled post from going out without deleting it, choose Unschedule; it moves back to your drafts.

Published posts: editing

Platforms differ in what they let other apps change after a post is live:

PlatformWhat Hyvo can do
Facebook, LinkedIn, MastodonEdit the text in place
X, Threads, BlueskyRepost with the new text. The old post, and its likes and replies, are removed.
InstagramNot from another app. Edit the caption in Instagram.

When you edit a published post, Hyvo shows which platforms will update in place and which need a repost. Reposting only happens if you tick it.

Deleting a post

  1. Open the post and choose Delete from its ⋯ menu.
  2. Hyvo lists the platforms the post is on. Untick any you want to keep.
  3. Confirm. The post is removed from those platforms and from Hyvo.

If a platform doesn't let Hyvo delete a post, the dialog says why and links to the post so you can delete it there. You can also choose Only remove from Hyvo, which keeps the post live on the platform.

Other actions

From a post's ⋯ menu you can also Duplicate it (a quick way to reuse a post), Copy link, Open post on the platform, or Refresh numbers to pull its latest results.
