Create a post

A tour of the composer: choose accounts, write or draft with Hyvo AI, add media, check previews, then publish, schedule, save a draft or send for review.

The composer is where every post starts. Open it with Create in the sidebar.

1. Choose the accounts

Pick one or more connected accounts at the top. The post goes to each of them. If you don't see an account, it may not be connected yet, or it may not be shared with you. See How connecting accounts works.

2. Write the post

Type your text in the editor. A counter shows how much room you have left on the strictest platform you picked. Text over a platform's limit is marked Over the limit, and Hyvo won't publish it until it fits.

To get help with the words, press ⌘J (Ctrl+J on Windows) to open AI Assist. Ask for a first draft, or improve what you've written: shorter, more engaging, more casual or more professional, a better opening line, a clearer call to action, fixed grammar or a translation. See Write with AI Assist.

3. Add photos, videos or designs

Choose Add photo or video to upload files, Import from Canva to bring in a design, or search free photos from Unsplash. See Add photos and videos and Canva and Unsplash.

4. Check the previews

The preview shows how the post will look on each platform. If one platform needs different text, choose Tailor for it to give it its own version. See Tailor a post for each platform.

5. Publish, schedule or save

  • Publish now: the post goes out straight away.
  • Schedule: pick a day and time. See Schedule a post.
  • Send to drafts: keep it and finish later. See Drafts.
  • Send for review: when your workspace uses approvals, a teammate approves it before it goes out. See Approvals.

After publishing, Hyvo shows the result for each account, for example "Every account accepted this post", or which account refused it and why.

Leaving the composer

If you close the composer with unsaved changes, Hyvo asks whether to keep them as a draft or discard them, so you never lose a post by accident.
