Character and media limits by platform
How long a post can be on each platform, how many files it can carry, and what each platform requires.
Hyvo checks every post against each platform's rules before it goes out, for every platform Hyvo supports, so a platform never cuts your text or refuses a post you thought was fine.

How the counter works
When you post to several platforms at once, the composer counts against the strictest one you picked. If a platform's version is too long, it's marked Over the limit. Shorten it, or tailor that platform's text.
For X and Mastodon, Hyvo uses the limit of your own account: 25,000 characters for X Premium accounts, and your server's limit on Mastodon.
File limits
Photos can be up to 8 MB. Video length and size depend on your plan. See Add photos and videos.
